Down to the nitty gritty.
Engines are incredibly complex mechanical works of art that have all sorts of bits and pieces working in harmony to create power and propel vehicles. It’s not easy to take apart an engine and rebuild it, and it requires a considerable amount of time.
Thankfully, the guys at Filmkooperation were able to create a fantastic stop-motion video that details the process of tearing down a 3.2-liter flat-six out of a Porsche 911 Carrera. It’s dirty, detailed, and hard work, but the intricacy is beautiful.
