Your carbon fiber Swedish chariot is here.
There are supercars and then there are hypercars. The latter term is exactly what you would use to describe the Koenigsegg One:1 – a car that has a magical one-to-one power-to-weight ratio that makes performance barriers crumble.
The Koenigsegg One:1 is something special. It’s super lightweight construction, hardcore twin-turbocharged V-8 engine and minimalistic but modern interior is geared for one thing: performance.
Tipping the scales at just 1,360 kg (2,998 lbs.) and boasting 1,360 PS (1,341 bhp), the Swedish speed monster is capable of reaching a top speed of 281.5 mph, theoretically. Its acceleration is simply insane as well.
At the VMAX200 Hypermax event, a brand new Koenigsegg One:1 was put to the test using standard fuel instead of the bio-ethanol that would’ve allowed for a full 1,360 PS output. Even still, with 1,160 horsepower, the One:1 was able to reach 225 mph on the runway with Koenigsegg chief test driver, Robert Serwanski behind the wheel.
Enjoy!
