Classics take to the Circuit.
While advancements in motorsports have dramatically changed the world of racing including cars, watching old classics take to the track and duke it out in a friendly manner is still very exciting. The raw power put hair on your chest and made drivers legends back in the day.
At the Silverstone Circuit, some classics took to the tarmac for some old-school racing. The stars of the show were the 996 Porsche 911 GT1 with its whistling turbochargers and the iconic McLaren F1 GTR with its high-revving V-12 that is utterly intoxicating. Air-cooled and water-cooled 911s, Vipers, and even the Jaguar Sport XJR-15 also ran, making it quite the motorsports showcase.
