1,300 horsepower clawing at the asphalt.
The stock Lamborghini Gallardo is pretty fast. Its naturally-aspirated V-10 engine willingly throws down well over 500 horsepower to all four wheels to send the supercar to triple-digit speeds with ease.
Then there are the folks at Underground Racing who believe that these naturally-aspirated exotic cars need to be strapped with turbochargers to create well over 1,000 horsepower. Simply put, these cars go from really fast in stock from to insanely, mind-bogglingly fast after the upgrade.
One example is the twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Gallardo by Underground Racing that pumps out 1,300 horsepower to the wheels. The supercar went to the drag strip to show just how fast it is, and boy is it quick in the quarter-mile.
Like 9.64 seconds at 162 mph in the quarter-mile fast.
