The fangs will be unveiled in New York.
After Chrysler was bought by FIAT, many changes were made to the structure of the company, one of which was the creation of the SRT brand. For a few years now, we’ve all been hearing rumors about the revival of the Viper, and those have turned out to be true as the new 2013 SRT Viper is set to be revealed on April 4th at the New York Auto Show.
There have been many spy shots, renderings, and rumors of the new SRT Viper. Chrysler has released four different teaser pictures to generate hype before its official unveiling on Wednesday, April 4th. From what we can tell, the 2013 SRT Viper will have super car proportions and muscular body work with two rear-facing air vents positioned on the front hood.
We’ve also heard all sorts of rumors about the new powertrain in the 2013 SRT Viper. The most probable rumor that we’ve heard is that a massive 8.7-liter naturally-aspirated V-10 engine will ignite the rear tires with over 600 horsepower. The Viper has always been about raw power and the new model looks to carry on that tradition.
Stay tuned for the official unveiling!
