The luxury rocket ship.
Back in 2010 Wheelsandmore introduced a tuning program called the “Ultrasports 702” for the Bentley Continental Supersports that upped the power threshold big time for the British coupe. Now that spring has arrived, the German tuner has developed a similar tuning program for the Continental Supersports Convertible.
The stock Bentley Continental Supersports is by no means a slouch. The 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W-12 engine cranks out 630 horsepower. Although it may already be one of the fastest four-seat convertibles on the market, Wheelsandmore thought it could be even faster. Engineers developed a handmade stainless steel exhaust system with sport catalytic converters and valve control system, and an ECU upgrade to push the total output to 702 brake horsepower and 880 lb-ft. of torque.
To stop the 702-horsepower drop-top missile, Wheelsandmore relies on the stock carbon-ceramic brakes. Why upgrade when they measure 16.54 inches in diameter, right? The one problem that the brakes pose is that a large portion of aftermarket wheels cannot be fitted due to the sheer size of the system. Wheelsandmore Bentley developed new wheels solve this problem. Measuring 10.5 x 21 inches at all four corners, the handcrafted three-piece C-Sport wheels can be custom tailored to any color or finish the customer wishes. Completing the stance is the LowMaXX electronic lowering module that automatically raises the ride height by 0.79 inches at speeds over 44 mph for ride comfort and safety.
Wheelsandmore currently offers all upgrades as a complete package or individual accessories for both the Bentley Continental Supersports and Supersports Convertible for a rich open-air experience. Pricing has not been released.
