A few Ferraris with some new forged wheels.
The German wheel specialists at WheelsandMore have been working on their new F.I.W.E. forged wheels for quite some time. After all of the prototyping and testing was finally finished, they got to work on introducing their newest product in their “La Famiglia” Ferrari collection.
Three of the Italian supercars were adorned with the new F.I.W.E forged wheels and given a few minor, but effective upgrades to make them even more exciting to drive.
The first member of “La Famiglia” to receive the new F.I.W.E forged wheels was an F12Berlinetta. The super grand tourer was given a full matte sand exterior wrap with black striping and lower body panels. The new F.I.W.E forged wheels were installed in a staggered 9.5 x 21 front and 12.5 x 22 setup then given 265/30/21 and 335/25/22 Continental tires. Each wheel features center-locking optics and an outer rim color-matched to the matte sand wrap, while the spokes and inside rim contrast in black. The 6.3-liter V-12 engine was bumped up considerably with the use of a handmade stainless steel exhaust system and a new ECU tune for a total of 785 horsepower and 538 lb-ft. of torque.
The F12Berlinetta’s sibling, the Ferrari FF was also given a set of F.I.W.E forged wheels to contrast its vibrant red paint. The new wheels were installed in a 9.5 x 21 front and 12.0 x 22 setup with respective 255/30/21 and 315/25/22 Pirelli tires for added grip. The 6.3-liter V-12 engine might not be as powerful as the F12Berlinetta, but it still manages to keep up with a valve-controlled exhaust system and software optimization for a total of 651 horsepower and 504 lb-ft. of torque.
The little brother of “La Famiglia” is the Ferrari California. The 2009, naturally-aspirated V-8 variant was given a new exhaust and ECU tune for a total of 510 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. All that power is transmitted to the road through the ultralight F.I.W.E forged wheels measuring 9.0 x 21 and 12.5 x 21 at the front and rear. The new forged wheels were color matched to the black and white exterior color combo with the outer rims and center star in white and the spokes in black. For maximum grip, new Hankook S1 Evo tires were fitted in a 245/30/21 and 345/25/21 setup at the front and rear.
The new F.I.W.E forged wheels are currently available from WheelsandMore along with all of the other upgrades featured on the Ferrari F12Berlinetta, FF, and California in “La Famiglia”.
